Shadow's Origin *comic*

   Not quite at the intellectual level to rein under Dusknoir, but a figure who has taunted our heroes more than once, Vespera is a black Skarmory with a blank, glowing gaze.  Stranger still, she's in the possession of some dark and dangerous powers, and no one really knows where she came from.  Behind those silver eyes and unintelligent giggles, however, lies an even darker story, left untold for centuries.  Come, dear reader, and hear again the tale of Shadow's Origin, a secretive account of the misfortunes of one special Skarmory and her brother, Lucas, born one cold night in the desolate peaks of Briar Mountains... But beware, it's not for the faint of heart...


   A storm is coming.  Her parents know this.  The whole tribe knows this.  But out of superstition and fear, 6-year old Vespera and her twin brother are kept in the dark.  Lucas is a Light Pokemon, and gets a lot of attention from the other kids and adults.  Vespera, on the other hand, has had a shadow growing over her since before she was born.  She's met with hostility by many, and is shunned and teased by her peers.  Sweet but timid little Vespera has her brother and mother to comfort her, but she slowly feels herself losing faith.  Things are hard after her father abandoned them, and she knows her mother is low-ranking due to being an immigrant... but deep inside... Vespera feels like something must be wrong with her... she knows she's different, and with her psychic abilities, she begins to pick up on something the grown-ups won't tell her.  This only adds to the child's anxiety, and something is bound to go wrong...

   Meanwhile, the hidden legendary, going by the name Luna, scrambles to keep her family and the rest of the world safe.  But like Vespera, she too is slipping, and her nemesis is beginning to take hold over the universe.  She knows he's planning something, but while trying to juggle the curse and Oblivion's antics, she is failing to catch on to the other legendary's schemes.  When time begins to spiral out of control, and the Pokemon she sees as a father loses his mind, the throne she's held for centuries slowly falls out of her grasp.  Luna and Vespera alike are mere pawns in a very dangerous game that will change the world forever... it will be the end of the world, as we know it.
